Caroline Karason previously trained and worked as a Science School Teacher at various outstanding schools in the UK and abroad. 


Before teaching, Karason moved to Kingston-upon-Hull to work as a Scientist for  Veet, the no. 1 depilatory powerbrand in the world, owned by the pharmaceutical and healthcare company, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc.


While working at the Reckitt Benckiser Group plc. , Karason co-invented the first ever Veet Depilatory Gel (sensitive variant) but was never publicly credited for it or listed on the patents arising from it. [Patent 1][Patent 2]


One of these patents has since been cited by L'Oréal, the world's largest cosmetic and personal care company which is based in Paris, France and the other patent was cited in two separate patents for the treatment of cancer and tumours. Once in 2019 and again in 2021, 9 and 11 years after Karason co-invented the first ever Veet Depilatory Gel in 2010.
